I have been on two documentary projects that are related more by coincidence than design.  Both projects were documentary photography in churches .

From 2006 – 2009, I joined 4 other photographers (Michael Castles, Matthew Magruder, Jeremy Moore and the late Lee Carmichael) on the Texas Church Project: a collaborative effort documenting historic church buildings using film and darkroom prints.   In 2007, we appeared in a segment of the “Texas Country Reporter” TV show.  In the segment, the narrator refers to the churches as “History in plain sight.”  Link (Youtube)

The work was exhibited at the Janette Kennedy Gallery in Dallas, TX, the University of North Texas, and Texas Tech University.
